We are a dynamic Public Policy team focusing on navigating the changing telecoms & tech regulation landscape. We are looking for a new colleague for the position of Regulatory Policy Manager, who will play a key role in driving strategic regulatory initiatives.

We’re located on a metro line – right at the entrance actually – our headquarters are in Stodůlky.

What will you do here?

• Drive regulatory and public policy initiatives: preparing regulatory policy positions aligned with business objectives and delivering advocacy with impact to support Vodafone priorities.

• Monitor and respond to regulatory challenges and opportunities: identifying existing or new regulatory policy topics affecting Vodafone, communicating and working with other Vodafone teams to align and engage with external stakeholders, using an evidence-based approach to formulate insights and policy narratives for policymakers, including contributions to public consultations of regulatory proposals.

• Represent Vodafone to key stakeholders: representing Vodafone in regulatory working groups, meetings and negotiations with regulators, ministries, industry associations. Developing and implementing approaches how to build relationships and engage a wide range of external stakeholders, participating in industry forums and conferences to build partnerships.

• Communicate and cooperate with internal teams: working cross-functionally with external affairs, legal, network and business teams to assess the impact of new regulations and regulatory initiatives.

• Develop regulatory expertise: building comprehensive knowledge of regulatory/policy trends and market developments, including in areas related to connectivity, network rollout, digitalisation and the EU regulatory framework.

What knowledge and skills do we expect?

• At least 5+ years of experience in regulation, public policy or telecommunications/digitalisation.
• Ability to navigate complex regulatory and legislative landscape and analyse the strategic impact of regulations.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, ability to develop/manage relationships with external partners and to advocate for and drive proposals and initiatives.
• Strategic thinking, ability to coordinate multiple internal/external stakeholders and translate business needs into actionable regulatory proposals, ability to prioritise high-impact workstreams and maintain focus to deliver on key objectives.
• Fluent Czech and English (written and spoken).
