As Head of IT Service Operations & Transformation, you will be a key member of the Czech CIO Leadership Team and part of Vodafone’s global IT Operations community, shaping how technology services are delivered today and transformed for tomorrow.

What will you do here:

Transform IT Operations

• Define and execute a 1–3 year IT Operations transformation strategy aligned with Vodafone's business objectives.

• Drive the adoption of AI, Agentic AI, autonomous operations, observability, automation, and self-healing capabilities.

• Lead cloud modernisation, operational excellence, and platform engineering initiatives.

Lead Large-Scale Change

• Create a culture of innovation, accountability, learning and continuous improvement.
• Lead organisational transformation across local, shared-service and vendor teams.
• Develop, coach and inspire high-performing teams through technology and organisational change.

Deliver Outstanding Service Performance

• Own end-to-end operational performance across applications, infrastructure and business services.
• Improve customer experience, service quality, resilience and operational efficiency.
• Reduce incidents through proactive operations, predictive analytics and automation.

Influence at Executive Level:

• Act as the senior operational technology advisor for Executive Committee members during critical incidents and major service challenges.
• Build strong relationships with business leaders, Vodafone Group stakeholders, VOIS and strategic partners.
• Shape operational decisions that support long-term business sustainability and growth.

Own Strategy & Investment

• Drive EOSL programmes, technology modernisation and operational resilience initiatives.
• Lead OPEX management and investment decisions that balance innovation, performance and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance, security, privacy and risk management standards are embedded across operations.

What knowledge and skills do we expect?

You are a visionary technology leader with the ability to combine strategic thinking, operational excellence and transformational leadership.

• 10+ years' experience in technology and business leadership
• Proven track record leading large-scale IT Operations transformation programmes
• Experience driving cloud adoption, automation and AI-enabled operations
• Strong understanding of ITIL, SRE, DevSecOps, Agile, TOGAF or similar frameworks
• Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills
• Experience managing complex, geographically distributed teams and suppliers
• Strong commercial acumen and budget ownership experience
• Ability to translate technology strategy into measurable business outcomes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technology or business-related field
• Fluent English
• Project Management expertise
• Change Management expertise
