The Accounting Manager (Invoicing Manager) manages a team of invoice accountants responsible for various routine invoicing tasks in support of the Europe-Asia-Middle East (EAME) / Asia Pacific (APAC) Treasury Invoicing Team. They will also support improving the accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of invoicing.

What do we expect from a suitable candidate?

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics
  • Minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible job-related experience
  • Strong background in Accounting or Finance
  • Working knowledge of Solar’s business segments, processes, and systems
  • Fluent English

Key Skills Required:

  • Managing People: Knowledge of processes involved in managing people; ability to lead successful teams, and diligently address issues related to performance and conflicts at the workplace.
  • Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
  • Effective Communications: Understanding effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
  • Judgment and Decision Making: Knowledge of the decision-making process; ability to carefully evaluate the impact of emerging business situations and choose the best path forward communicating actions and activities that maximize organizational performance.
  • Accounting: Knowledge of accounting methods, processes, and tools; ability to maintain and prepare financial statements and reports using accounting methods and processes.
  • Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.
  • Financial Reporting: Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting; ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports.
