Finance analyst

Position characteristics

We can offer this position as part time job in case of your interest.

We are looking for a Financial Analyst with an interest in data, finance, and accounting. In this role, you will work in the telecommunications industry, combining financial analysis, accounting, stakeholder management, and collaboration with international teams.

What will you do here?

• Take responsibility for assigned areas of revenue accounting, particularly roaming, prepaid services, and related financial processes.
• Analyze financial and operational data, identify variances, and investigate their root causes.
• Prepare accounting inputs, calculations, and reporting, and support the monthly financial closing process.
• Work closely and communicate with Shared Service Centers in Hungary and India, as well as with local business stakeholders.
• Contribute to solving more complex accounting and business topics across the organization.
• Support audit, regulatory, and reporting requirements.
• Actively contribute to process automation, improving data quality, and increasing the efficiency of financial processes.
• Work in a small team of specialists, with the opportunity to take ownership of your own area and influence the way we work.

What knowledge and skills do we expect?

• At least 3 years of experience in finance, controlling, accounting, or financial analysis.
• You enjoy working with data and can turn data into meaningful insights and conclusions
• Excellent MS Excel skills and confidence working with large volumes of data.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across the organization.
• Good command of English for day-to-day communication in an international environment.
• You are independent, responsible, and able to prioritize effectively.
• Experience with SAP.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of analytical tools such as Power BI, SQL, etc.
• Experience in telecommunications, Revenue Accounting, or financial reporting.
