Position Overview:

We are seeking a driven individual for the Finance Controller role. As part of our high-performing Controller Team, you will work independently, advising, analyzing, and following up on financial information. Your responsibilities will include proactive analysis, involvement in monthly closings, and driving forecast and budget processes. You will also continuously improve work methods and processes both individually and within the team, locally and globally.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the integrity and reliability of financial and operating results for reporting and forecasting purposes.
  • Prepare annual, quarterly, and monthly forecasts for assigned client groups/departments.
  • Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
  • Deliver accurate, insightful, and timely analysis of financial results against plans, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Participate in the design, development, and implementation of performance management tools.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Complete ad hoc reports/analysis as necessary.
  • Oversee project controlling.
  • Support external and internal audit/SOX teams by providing evidence and support.
  • Understand cash management (WIP/AR) and CGI finance/month-end closing processes.
  • Support operations members and participate in external audits and SOX control processes.

Key Competencies:

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite applications.
  • Awareness and understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards.
  • Understanding of Internal Controls (SOX)
  • ExperiencedERP user
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • Several years (+5) of experience in similar roles.
  • Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of a Scandinavian language is an advantage.
