To strengthen our growing team, we are looking for an experienced Contract Manager who will drive the commercial and contractual strategy of complex international power solutions projects and contribute directly to their successful execution.

Your Role – Commercial & Contractual Ownership

In this role, you will act as a key business partner to Sales and Project Management, with end‑to‑end responsibility for contractual and commercial topics across the project lifecycle.

What will be your task at this position?

  • Lead the preparation, review, and negotiation of contracts for complex international EPC and power plant projects
  • Drive contractual and commercial strategy during tendering and execution phases
  • Manage and coordinate internal stakeholders (Sales, Project Management, Legal, Procurement)
  • Actively support and participate in customer negotiations and commercial discussions
  • Ensure compliance with Caterpillar corporate standards and applicable legal frameworks
  • Take ownership of contract & claim management, including variations and change orders
  • Identify, evaluate, and mitigate commercial and contractual risks while protecting project margins
  • Support Project Management during execution in:

- interpretation of contractual obligations
- claim handling and dispute avoidance

  • Collaborate with Procurement and Project Management to ensure back-to-back contractual alignment

What do we expect from a suitable candidate?

  • Proven experience in contract management within EPC projects, construction, or complex industrial deliveries
  • Strong understanding of contract & claim management, including risk allocation and variation handling
  • Experience in the energy sector or infrastructure projects is a strong advantage
  • University degree (Economics, Engineering, Law, or similar)
  • Good knowledge of international contract standards (e.g. FIDIC)
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Commercial mindset with ability to balance risk and business opportunity
  • Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach
  • Fluent in English (mandatory); additional languages are an advantage
  • Willingness to travel internationally on a limited basis
