IT Project Manager - Infrastructure projects

In the Czech Republic, we have two divisions – Cardif Insurance (pojišťovna) and Cardif Services, which primarily focuses on the development of key software for insurance companies within continental Europe. Other services such as development and valuation of insurance products, HR, optimization and unification of processes or management accounting are an integral part.

If you are able to adapt to new situations, find the key points and people of the projects and understand the technical and organizational complexity of the topic, you are the one we are looking for. As a Project Manager, you would work on projects like data center migration, network segmentation, server/storage replacement, business continuity, disaster recovery tests, SIEM, user access management and many more.

This role covers following activities

• Track and control defined projects progress in the EMEA region
• Take ownership and accountability for reporting on the project portfolio progress ensuring central oversight and full transparency
• Ensure objectives of EMEA region management and Program owners at group level are communicated and understood by all stakeholders
• Identify blockers, risks and related possible remediations actions related to the projects, and alert management for major issues
• Manage escalation process between projects, region and central teams
• Assess project portfolio performance compared to IT Group expectations and provide KPIs to IT Group representatives

Your profile

• Fluent English spoken and written (min. level B2)
• Good knowledge of IT (infrastructure, applications, network, …)
• Ability to design and enforce processes
• Excellent leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in the IT domain, with 5 years minimum as project manager
• Senior level project management skills with a record of managing strategic IT projects/programs
