HR Director

Join us as an HR Director and become a trusted HR partner to our leadership team while ensuring the smooth delivery of HR services across our organization.

About the role

As HR Director, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of HR services across an organization of approximately 1,000 employees. You will work closely with business leaders and participate in regular management meetings, bringing the HR perspective into discussions and helping address people-related topics and challenges.

The role combines hands-on HR Business Partnering, team leadership, and coordination of key HR processes, while ensuring that global HR standards are effectively applied in the local environment.

What will you do

  • Act as the main HR partner for the local leadership team and participate in regular management meetings.
  • Ensure the smooth delivery of HR services across the organization in cooperation with HR Business Partners, HR Administration, and other support functions.
  • Lead and support the local HR team, providing guidance, coaching, and prioritization.
  • Advise managers on people-related topics including performance management, employee relations, team development, and organizational changes.
  • Help leaders address operational and organizational challenges from a people perspective.
  • Ensure alignment with corporate HR policies and adapt global HR initiatives to local business needs.
  • Use HR metrics and insights to support discussions with leadership and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Drive consistency and quality across key HR processes such as performance management, talent discussions, and the employee lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor regulations and corporate HR standards.

What we are looking for

  • 7–10+ years of HR experience in an international organization, ideally in IT, consulting, or a professional services environment.
  • Strong experience in HR Business Partnering, working closely with senior leaders.
  • Experience leading and developing HR professionals or HR teams.
  • Ability to balance business needs with HR best practices.
  • Strong understanding of core HR processes and the employee lifecycle.
  • Experience working in an international or matrix organization is an advantage.
  • Data-driven mindset and experience using HR metrics and insights.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Fluent English and Czech or Slovak.
