Supply Chain Coordinator _Entry Level

This role is responsible for managing purchased material requirements, ensuring timely availability of components, and maintaining appropriate inventory levels to support customer demand. It includes end‑to‑end purchase order execution, supplier coordination, and adherence to materials planning guidelines.

What will be your task at this position?

Material Planning & Inventory Management

• Establish and maintain material planning methods, safety stock levels, and forecast approaches for assigned products.
• Monitor lead times, supplier responsiveness, and demand signals to ensure material availability.
• Track inventory levels and identify inactive, obsolete, or excess stock in line with planning guidelines.

Purchase Order Execution

• Create, release, and monitor purchase orders from initiation to delivery.
• Ensure materials are delivered accurately, on time, and to the correct location.
• Adjust delivery schedules based on inventory status and changing demand.

Supplier Coordination

• Communicate regularly with suppliers regarding delivery performance, delays, or risks of shortages.
• Resolve routine supply issues and escalate when necessary.
• Provide feedback on supplier performance to relevant internal stakeholders.

Shortage & Risk Management

• Monitor shortage tools and proactively identify potential supply gaps.
• Communicate risks to internal teams and customers, proposing mitigation actions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work effectively within a matrix environment, coordinating with procurement, logistics, production, and customer service.
• Balance requirements from different functions and ensure alignment of priorities.

What do we expect from a suitable candidate?

• University degree in economics or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Fluent in English, other languages are an advantage
• Computer/ system skills/ MS Office skills, experience with ERP systems is considered a plus.

Analytical Thinking

• Ability to analyze data, compare alternatives, and identify root causes using tools such as Pareto charts or flow diagrams.
• Draw logical conclusions and understand key drivers impacting supply performance.

Decision Making & Critical Thinking

• Gather and organize relevant information to support informed decisions.
• Assess risks and benefits of different options and contribute to solution selection.

Effective Communication

• Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and suppliers.
• Deliver constructive feedback and interpret verbal and non‑verbal cues.
• Prepare reports and presentations related to work.

Problem Solving

• Identify issues in supply, inventory, or processes and propose practical solutions.
• Consider different stakeholder perspectives and evaluate alternatives.

Vendor/Supplier Management

• Maintain productive working relationships with suppliers.
• Ensure adherence to quality and delivery expectations and help resolve operational issues.

Procurement Knowledge

• Understand procurement processes, documentation requirements, and approval workflows.
• Use procurement systems and tools effectively in daily transactions.
