Capex Manager (f/m/x)

We are looking for a skilled and driven Capex Manager to lead a team and take full responsibility for the planning, coordination, and execution of Capex projects portfolio. This role is key to ensuring smooth investment planning, budget control, and successful project preparation and implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a dedicated Capex team
- Translate company goals into clear objectives, prioritization and projects portfolio management
- Collaborate with other departments, especially in asset lifetime management, developing investments connected ideas for costs optimization, reliability and operational safety improvements
- Oversee the planning, budgeting, preparation and execution of Capex projects
- Coordinate, approve, and submit Capex requests
- Allocate resources efficiently to meet strategic goals
- Ensure the safe and effective delivery of all Capex projects
- Monitor progress and control compliance within the assigned scope
- Support and coach all CAPEX project managers to execute according to CAPEX guidelines
- Drive implementation of corporate policy changes in your area
What You Bring:
- Proven experience in managing investment projects, practical knowledge of technical project execution
- Profound experience within Program & Portfolio Management within heavy industry is an advantage
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and develop a team
- Strategic thinking and excellent organizational abilities
- Solid financial and budget management experience
- Proactive communication and decision-making skills
- Very good command of English (spoken and written) – daily communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Knowledge of the Czech language is an advantage for this position
- Experience with continuous improvement programs is an advantage
