We are looking for a new colleague to our international shared service center in Prague to join our Treasury team.

What will be your task at this position?

  • The incumbent is responsible for the timely management and report out of key, global, Treasury data in support of the Global Process Owner of this Treasury activity.

  • The incumbent coordinates with multiple process owners to secure adequate data quality to effectively manage a set of reports and dashboards to report on Global Treasury related data. He will manage and ensure the quality of the data gathered on a treasury SharePoint. Maintaining a high level of satisfaction of treasury internal and external data customer through the management of the reporting system in coordination with the Global Process Owner is a key accountability of this position.
  • To ensure customer expectations are met, the position is responsible for the gathering of the data, the ensuring of the quality of the data and the processing of the data to produce relevant reports to take business decisions. This needs an understanding of sound business practices along with an understanding of the Solar organization.
  • Major touch points throughout Solar and the Caterpillar Corporation include Corporate Treasury, Solar Finance, Solar Project management and Overhaul Business Management, Marketing, Sales, Legal, Global Trade Compliance, and Supply Chain.
  • Other task, such as but not limited to, KYC and legal documentation for banks might be assigned, depending on workload.

What do we expect from a suitable candidate?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Management of a renown University, a Master degree is preferred

  • Advanced in MS Power Point and Excel, Power BI and working with ERP and/or other database systems are considered an asset
  • High Data aptitude is necessary to be successful in this role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • English language advanced level is a must
  • Tasks will require an awareness of how they relate to other assignments and broader goals within the company, and will require exceptional reporting, analytical, data management, and communication skills.
