What will be your task at this position?

  • The Document Controller for Gas Turbine Package and BOP projects is accountable for managing Customer and Suppliers technical documentation.
  • Management of Share-point site to share documentation with Suppliers and Customers
  • Save Suppliers and Customers documentation in project folders
  • Compile the Quality Assurance Data Book (QADB) including internal documentation (from Solar) or external documentation (from Suppliers)
  • Create Operation and Maintenance Instructions (OMI) from the standard pre-configured OMI, to be finally customized by Project Engineers
  • Update OMI with project specific modification from Project Engineers
  • Updating OMI Vol III with data sheet / manuals for project specific components
  • Collection of all documents part of the final documentation to be provided to customer (shared via Share point and/or print paper documentation)
  • Management of OMI or technical document translation.
  • Management of project document list (document number definition from customer specification, document revision and contractual delivery dates, documentation approval cycle)
  • Cooperate with Supply Chain department, Quality Engineer, and Project Engineers during project execution to collect all the needed documentation and prepare the QADB/OMI/Final Documentation for the customer.

What do we expect from a suitable candidate?

  • 3 to 5 experience in Document Controller position better if for Power Generation projects execution with focus on Gas Turbine either with OEM or EPC;

  • Fluency in English Other language like Italian, Spanish and French will be a plus.
  • Able to work at ease in multi-cultural and interdisciplinary environment.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, flexibility, as well as good interpersonal skills. Self-starter, operates with minimal instruction.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Knowledge of MS Office, Lotus Notes
  • as a “plus”: Knowledge of Windchill and Smarteam.
