Head of financial planning and analysis

Position characteristics

Analyse and interpret financial and non-financial data influencing strategic financial decisions and formulate plans and budgets to execute developed strategies.

Key accountabilities:

• Manage the Financial Planning and Analysis department consisted of Central Financial planning - Revenue and Cash, Corporate Opex cost planning, Capex planning and Technology controlling and corporate planning teams in terms of supervision, motivation, growth, coaching, development of skills and evaluation. Influence, develop and motivate people and change behaviour. Inspire and create the right working climate.

• Contribute to overall Finance strategy through the delivery of financial plans, analysis and through insight into the business case development process.
• Provide end to end (Total P&L and Cash Flow incl. Working Capital and Capex movements) insights of Financial and Commercial performance of the company to key stakeholders. Analyse current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, costs, and capital expenditures.
• Manage the planning cycles and ensure targets align to market developments as well as to VF Group targets. Develop and link strategic plans and operational budget.
• Act as a SPOC for Europe Finance in charge of representing VF CZ in monthly performance calls as well as all reviews.
• Lead the development and preparation of business proposals, act as the key interface between the finance function and the business heads to agree financial plans, initiatives and policy in order for Vodafone to meet business objectives. Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.
• Perform other job-related duties or tasks defined by the supervisor or resulting from assigned agendas.

What knowledge and skills do we expect?

• Proven experience in managing and developing a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) department, including supervision, motivation, coaching, skill development, and performance evaluation. Ability to influence, develop, and motivate people while creating a positive working environment.
• Contribution to overall Finance strategy through the delivery of financial plans, analyses, and insights into business case development.
